It’s an age-old story. A sweetheart young boy from somewhere in Middle America leaves home for the huge city with nothing but his dreams and the shirt on his back. That guy makes his way out to Hollywood, shooting for the stars. His small town upbringing can’t possibly prepare him for what the town has to offer. Like the thousands that came formerly, he’ll find this Los Angeles is not all bright lights and video stars. Almost any of those beloved teen souls will not strike gold on California’s shore, in preference to, if they’re favoured, they’ll end up with a fistful of copper. Billy Boy is the tale of one such small city boy, just trying to get by in the rat race of the Golden State.
