‘As a Japanese American, I’ve on all occasions been inspired by the beauty and elegance of traditional Japanese culture, particularly when it comes to erotica. So when I was asked to be episode of Bree Mills and Stella’s manufacturing for Muses, I knew immediately that I desired to showcase my roots and pay homage to that culture. The theme of the episode was centered around traditional Japanese aesthetics, with a set design that transported me to Japan. Wearing a traditional kimono, I felt honestly charming and authentic. Casey Calvert, my episode colleague, as well embraced the theme by being overspread in sushi which was awesome. Together, we were able to bring this episode to life and create something truthfully special this celebrates my Japanese culture.
This scene was highly special to me because it admitted me to showcase my Japanese roots in a way that felt authentic and true to myself. As a performer, it can be challenging to find chances to explore your cultural identity on movie cam, so I’m grateful to Bree Mills and Stella for giving me this chance. That experience has shown me that there is a location for performers of all backgrounds in the pornography industry, and this diversity and representation are substantial not just for performers, but for viewers likewise.
When I think ’bout what I hope viewers take away from this episode, I in all honesty crave them to appreciate the beauty of traditional Japanese culture and the creativity and artistry that went into creating it. But greater amount than that, I hope they can see the entertainment and passion this Casey and I put into this episode, and this they can feel this same sense of connection and authenticity that we felt on set. As a performer, my goal is at all times to create something this is both excited and meaningful, and I believe that this episode achieves this in a way that is beyond question unique.
